AIA Lunch with Fellows

Marlene Imirzian & Will Bruder will lead a discussion regarding their path to Fellowship at the AIA Arizona Phoenix Metro office.  The event is a Career Builder Series, titled “FAIA Lunch with Fellows”. Both Marlene and Will were inducted to the AIA College of Fellows earlier this year at the AIA National Convention in Denver, Colorado in June.

Miramar College HDATT Open House

The Miramar College Heavy Duty Advanced Transportation Technology Building is complete!   An open house was held on October 9th. The newly completed expansion provides a foundation for the Diesel Technology program to become a leader in Advanced Transportation Technology and Alternative Fuels discipline in the Western United States.

Local Leaders: Cities as a Lab

The Paradise Valley Community College Life Science Building has been included as an example of an innovative, collaborative design for learning in the American Institute of Architects online report, “Cities as a Lab: Designing the Innovation Economy.”  The report demonstrates how design can foster innovative approaches to the changing needs of American cities. The Life Science Building is featured on page 34.
